For those of you who may not be familiar with NaNoWriMo, every November there is a monthly event to get a full length novel done in 30 days. That's right, 50k in 30 days. Well, I found out that they have a camp that they run in August with the same goal in mind so me and several other authors signed on to torture ourselves for the next 30 days.
Well, I wanted to update you so far as to how things are going:
Day 1, I completed 2,635 toward my 50k goal. Not bad for a first day.
Day 2, I completed 2,545 towards the goal, for a total of 5,180! One tenth of the way there!

If I finish ahead of the end of the month deadline, which I definitely should, then I will add another project in it's place.
At the end of the day 100k is the ultimate goal. Spread out over two projects or a few projects, I am aiming for 100,000 words this month. I can't promise that I will update the blog every day. All these words don't count toward my daily goal... lol. But I do promise to update a couple of times per week to let you all know if I'm surviving! Wish a
