I'm not sure how many of you know that poetry is and was my first literary love. It was the way I found to express myself; cloaking some of my feelings in words at the same time expressing my truest thoughts in the same words. That may sound confusing but poetry in and of itself is an enigma. Maybe that's why I enjoy it so much.
I was having a poetic moment when I remembered my first book of poetry, one I wrote long before people outside of my innermost circle, knew who I was as a writer. So I made a decision to update the cover, insert some work that had never seen the light of day, and re-release Closet Issues, A Poets Journey into the Dark Places.
Closet Issues is a book of poetic stories that speak to the pain; experiences we would rather not discuss but continue to exist in the dark recesses of our closed in spaces. I hope the poetry lovers will take a chance on this one and take this journey with me...

So, while delving in to my poetic archives, I also decided it was time for a fresh face to Wordsmithin, another book of poetry I wrote and released several years ago. Forged in Fire is the new version and there is new material in this one as well; recent poetic musings have been added to the older version. Both of these books will be released on New Year's Eve and I hope, you will take a look at this one as well. Thanks already for your support!
